I tried a web search last week and could not find anything new posted.

I am now skeptical about the product unless they are keeping hush hush while doing extensive testing. It seems like the company would be at least posting marketing hype if they were near introducing it to the marketplace.

at the very least its going to have the same issues as the ergomo. And i read on here previously that if its measureing power by converting force on the foot bed, then it can't calculate the power produced when pushing forward/back or up, it can only be calculated/estimated. Especially noticable when climbing.

I bet when its all said and done the SRM Pro is still going to be the industry standard....

for 550$ why would you want this over a powertap standard..... that works lol...

i duno, how is a sensor going to measure pulling up on the pedals and pushing forward and back, unless they have shear sensors aswell as compression one's, and the computer is programed to treat negative compression values (pulling on the pedals) as real positive values for power.

If it works reliably and accurately, and doesn't add any great amount of stack height to my shoe's then this might be nice. the polar power system is gold on paper aswell but comes up a tad short compared to powertap and srm in the real world.
