  1. ... on Avid mech. installation f & r. I even bought a torque wrench to tighten to the recommended
    torque settings just to be geeky. I rode the bike on my yard and they seem to work. I'm about to try
    them on a trail.

  3. I picked a perfect day to try the new Avid mech. discs. It just started raining and the trails just
    started to get wet. I noticed right away that I had excellent braking power, in spite of the wet
    weather. I almost did an endo since I switched the brake positions and kept squeezing the right
    brake on a fast down hill. All in all, I'm satisfied!
