[font=Comic Sans MS]Thank you Lance Armstrong .......
With your retirement today many of your cycling fans are reflecting upon your fantastic career in cycling. From an American perspective , after the LeMond years we were not sure we would ever see another American standing upon that top step of the podium. We started to see hope when you won the World's in 1993 as the youngest rider to do so . The cycling press cried out ." Brash young Texan." But that wa OK with your fans. We understood. My personal memory of you was at a race following the Worlds and the way you wore the World's jersey that day. Of all the cycling "Who's Who" there there that day , you were the one that had time for the fans.
Then came the news of the cancer. The well documented story is one of the greatest stories in sport. You seemed to have gave some hope to many cancer patients when all they had was hope. Your survival was a miracle. Then in 1999 we saw what Lance Armstrong was all about. Here in America the term "Yellow Jersey" was understood for the 1st time by mainstream sports fans. The month of July started meaning something to your fans. Because of you we in America recieved good TV coverage for the 1st time. EsPN and then OLN. As a American cycling fan , I know we will never see days in July as exciting as you have gave us.
You rose above all the criticism that was tossed your way. You never gave in.... You did it your way.
Seven Tours. Unthinkable 5 years ago. We have been privledged to have witnessed the greatest assult on France since D-day.
You could climb, you could TT, and you had a good sprint. You demanded loyalty amoung your team and friends. And "loyalty to a cause" is something we see so little of today.
And thanks for riding clean. The pressure to dope in sports is great today. You never caved into the pressure.
Enjoy your retirement. You have earned it. Tonight my friends are going out for Tex-Mex and Shiner Bocks........Thanks again ..........

The delusion that is Wolfie!
Another out-of-the-closet Pharmstrong Nike drug cheat myth worshiper..
Only in Texas can this happen.
Great State that it ain't. Blood for oil and steroid beef drive its economy.
Haliburton (Brown & Root) and 14 brand new Iraqi USA air force bases to go nicely with the Live Wrong lie!
The shame of it all.

Flyers Finale, why do you have to keep knocking everyones views? If you think every pro cyclist dopes, so be it. Keep it to yourself. I think it's great that you care so much about the sport that you're willing to go out and spread the word. But the fact is we all know there are dopers in cycling. I, and many others, will watch it anyways. You just don't need to be ragging on every singhle comment made.

I liked your post. thought it was good, and true. Though when Lance won the Worlds, I was just a few monthes old. I have both his books, and the one by Daniel Coyle.

Likked Wolfix's post that is. F.F.'s post make me feel dpresssed😄 .

Lance is Nike endorsed drug cheat. Much like Barry Bonds & Marion Jones except with a Chemo-therapy and EPO sales mission.
No reason that his crimes should make you feel anything but contempt.
Depression over being duped? Nah. You are but one of millions.
Cheer up. Every dog has his day.

Jeebus, sounds like something Armstrong's fluffer would write if he were more articulate. You seem to have completely left out that Armstrong is a proven EPO user and thus a fraud who made most of his money by deceiving people with cancer. Is there a more despicable way to make money? Let me guess. You wrote that before Armstrong was proved to have used EPO? Or was it before you switched to the "riders used speed and steroids in the 70's so it doesn't matter" defense?
Weren't you the one calling for Armstrong not be be mentioned anymore since he has retired? I thought so. Pot. Kettle. Black.

BroDeal---a breath of fresh air and sage wisdom in the land of a $200 BILLION global annual media budget of sales themes, myths and believers.
Flyer had to endure a fools paradise which was a Brain Trust that wolfie was a junior partner in at the time.
We all knew Pharmstrong was a drug cheat---but is was politically incorrect to write it.
Not that it stopped Flyer. Not at all.
AIS----that was the final straw on this board. eGH and testicomp aside, Wolfie is a typical Texan. BBQ, SUVs, gun rack with a loaded rifle, Tex Mex, beer guzzling and drunk driving, steroid and Growth Hormone and Winstrol cattle, oil pipelines, college football, TO, espn Michael (Crack Pipe) Irvin and a lone star as a bullseye.
Lance Pharmstrong is a hero to such people. As are Brown & Root AND suvs.
Glad to have you around these them parts--partner.Live Wrong! theonion.com51324Open ↗
