  1. I need to replace the rear derailleur on my Campy 7-speed Ergo system.
I have a 2003 Chorus 10-speed derailleur. Will it work, or will I
need to pop for a 7/ 8-speed der?

    Thanks!

I've never done with those components, but one of my bike currently runs
a 6spd derailleur with a 9spd drive chain with no problems.

    Cheers

The 'official' suggestion is to use an older (spring tension screw on
top) model. Practically, it doesn't matter . Use what you have, it will
    shift reliably.

Thanks all--I installed the Chorus der, and it works just fine!
