I say forget the Tour De France. All of the teams should just say NO we're not coming this year. I beat the French would change their tone. Sick of it! Sick of hearing about the doping thing. I thought maybe the new year would bring a change, but ---- wrong. Now the 2006 runner up might have to give up his seat as the winner ---- an all before he even gets to sit down. Crazy. Let's just let the French run their little race by themselves --- that would be a CLEAN competition.

yeh dam those french trying to bust dopers! bloody criminals....🙄
-
LOL. Yes, it's the French! A conspiracy! 🙄 It is not the riders doping! 😉
Be careful, cycling needs the TdF. The recent position taken by the TdF, Giro and Vuelta mean that there is a risk that we will no longer have a meaningful Pro Tour. So don't discount the organizers (including the French ones) if you want to have any professional cycling at all.
And that is key if we want TV and sponsors to stay in the cycling game.

When I was a kid, I used to aggressive inline skate. It was on the X-games and really popular and suddenly they dropped it and a few years went by and you couldn't find aggro skates or anything related to it after that.

That relates how? Honestly, I'm curious.😕

I think what OoamericanGirl means. If they drop the TdF from the calendar then in a few years we won't see road bikes on the market....... We will have to make our own.... Makes sense right?😕

Oh, I see. Thanks 😄 .
By the way, the race in Italia is the Giro d' Italia

LOL. Cannot seem to remember right now. Lance didn't ride it so it is not really an important cycling race. He only road in the Tour de whatchamacallit. 😄

just because France was right about iraq is no excuse to sulk : though knowing what a pain in the bum americans abroad can be they might prefer it if you stayed home .

I don't mean to slam the French, in fact I love it there. I also love the women and the coffee. I just don't understand why you'd want to tear down "one of the biggest" pro cycling races by limiting the competition. Doping has been around for years. I think T-MObile's way of thinking is a good one. Put stronger rules in place and move on. The past is the past. Let the boys ride. If they dope again, they're done. It is simple and all is good just like women and coffee [in France]. Thanks for writing back too.

LW doesn't have a sense of humor. He is just warped like me.We redneck hillbillies are especially sick
Pete I can make you an honorary redneck hillbilly and all you need do is take the pledge to not beat your wife on her birthday and pass the initiation by drinking some cheap American beer and then urinate off you deck or balcony.
It would also be of help if you pretend to be unable to pronounce Campagnola correctly.
Crampy- what, non lo so! -

BTW, I already own some 'wife beater' shirts. And I drank cheap beer while in the US. Quite a bit of it (thank you American college life... talk about studying abroad😄😄😄😄😄). Had to fit in with the locals.😉
And urinated from [on?at?] a lot of places decent folk would have disapproved of.
Ok, crampy. Whatever them there EEEEEurRRRRoPPPPPean bicyclin' parts is called. Hard to find good 'merican stuff any more. Sheesh. And good ole American boys have to shave their legs and head over to France to ride some dang bicycle race there! Whatever happened to the Tour DuPont. Best stage race ever!
Hey, I have downloaded some Shenandoah... you know '....bar-be-cue and aluminum foil, just enough money for my gas and oil!'. Does that give me extra points? Pretty, pretty please?

the only problem w/ that is, if it was only the French in the race, nobody would win.(Hinault said his own people dislike the winner, they like the runner-up)
