Hi all. I just thought I'd introduce myself as I will be using this forum/site quite a frequently.
I am 23, student and company director. I have just retruned to cycling after going through the phase of passing my driving test years ago and using the car ever since. I recently bought an AMMACO Interloper (MTB) (didn't look into bikes, just walked into a shop and bought it on impulse) which I couldn't get on with and the quality of the components (gears and shifters) seemed to be quite poor. I sold it the other day and have since become the proud owner of a Claud Butler Milano which I love and get on very well with.

Welcome, there are all sorts here, including us dark siders, and amazingly we all get on, we have a few spirited arguments but always seem to find some common ground, it is a great group, watch out for the PSF though.

hey watch out with referrals to Guy's site. Correspondents may be using one of the non-ms browsers that inexplicably die after a few pages there. Is Guy earning commision from MS? I think we should be told...

I don't know the bike, but as far as I can see that was just a silly snide comment and I would ignore it if I were you. The specification looks perfectly reasonable and not bad value for money. I'm sure you'll have a great deal of fun on it.
On Usenet you'll always find people trying to appear big or clever by putting other people down. Ignore them.
