This is my first posting I hope someone can help. I have a Pinarello with a Campagnolo Xenon 9 speed group set with Mavic wheels. Don't really like the style of the wheels they are Mavic cxp22 rims with Campagnolo Xenon hubs. A friend of mine gave me some Bontrager select wheels which I must say are a nice looking wheel🙂 They have only done 50km they came off a Trek bike which had a Smimano group set .
My question are : 1.Can I use these wheels on my bike with the Campagnolo Xenon ?😕 😕
2. Whould the Bontrager select wheels be an upgrade to the wheels I have now?😕

No and probably not. Campy make great stuff and if its well built, the cxp 22 with xenon hubs (probably DT spokes of some description) won't look great but will be an excellent wheel. What you seem to like the look of is factory wheels, which I can understand. In that case I'd recommend Campagnolo Khamsin or Fulcrum Racing 7, they both look great.

Thanks for your reply. I see you use Neuvation R28aero wheels. How are they😕 I have read many good things about Neuvation wheels on roadbikereview.comroadbikereview.comOpen ↗ They have some Neuvation M28aero for 249 US Dollars which I liked very much especially after reading all the good reviews so I called them up to see if they would ship me some to Japan but they wouldn't.🙁 [font=Century][/font]
For what you'll pay for them, you'll struggle to find better. I rotate wheels though, between racing, fast rides and regular training. You may be better served getting something like the Khamsin with a steel freehub body, because the cogs won't 'notch' it. It also depends on how much you weigh. Tall & strong (heavier), go for steel, light climby type (or just small), you may get away with alloy freehub bodies (which all neuvations have) Good luck.
