Before I take my bike to the shop, and look stupid, I have a few questions:
When I try to put the chain in the big ring in the front, it clicks like it is going to slip or isn't all the way in. Do I need to have something adjusted?
Is it harmful to constantly take the front wheel off to transport the bike?
How often do I need to lube the chain and what's the best stuff to use?
I guess that's it for right now. My bike shop owner is absolutely GREAT! But, I feel like I take advantage of his generosity sometimes as he adjusts stuff or takes a look at my bike for free when I have questions. He did sell me the bike, so I guess that goes along with it. I'd just like to be educated before going in there this time!

Thanks!
Something needs adjusted. Wheels are designed to be removed. How often depends on what you are using for a lube and conditions ridden in.
