I got one of these about 4 months ago and I also had a hard time understanding
the software. There is some information on Ciclosports website about the Ciclo
Tour software but very little about Hactronic. Just keep playing around with it
is my suggestion.

The computer itself is a mystery. It constantly shows a .2 to .3 slower average
speed but when the data is uploaded into either of the software programs, the
correct average appears. Also, the altitude is way off. My house is at 1062
feet but the Ciclosport is showing 517 feet right now. It varies from 500 to
800 feet but always too low. Don't try to get any answers from the US
distributer Veltec. They know absolutely nothing about the computer.

I have to agree about finding help with the software.
There isn't much around here down under also.
With the altimeter, I was have irregular start readings apparently due to
atmospheric changes.
What I've done is to imput a home altitude so every time you start recording
your ride, the computer
starts the altitude and that home value. This seems to have helped get a
realistic looking profile.

Yes, you can input the home altitude but I wonder why it is off by so much
compared to the altimeters on other bike computers. When you upload the data
into Ciclo Tour, you can set the starting altitude and all the other data points
will adjust. Also, the grade percent while on the bike will be different than
what is uploaded to Ciclo Tour. Ciclo Tour will show it much higher. There
have been several updates to the Ciclo Tour software but the current (2.07) will
not update my version 1.52. It's still a fun toy and I don't regret buying it
but I got a new one on Ebay for $71. I would not pay the $200 price it is
selling for retail.
