It all depends in on how good a mechanical shape it is. If there is

Which is about $1250, adjusted for inflation.

Tha bike has the cheapest possible tubing and the lowest end campy
components. pricewise it is at the low end of an 80s bike. On ebay,
that bike would probably not sell for more than $300. $280 is way too
much. $1200 is abusrd considering the stuff that you can buy for less
than $1000 nowadays.

"Hungry Holler" is sort of a West Virginia expression as in "he lives so
far back in the mountains that the sunshine pump doesn't work" (reference
to being out of touch with modernity).

Friends of my sold their spread out here on the left coast and moved to
Arkansas. They bought an old farm right on the northern border with
Missouri, in fact their mailing address is in MO and you can't get to
their place from AR.

They keep asking me to send them more yeast and copper tubing. They must
be baking a lot of bread. ;-)

Sadly, I'm only 2-3 miles from three Interstate exits. But the "real
Ozarks" are close by. This is a really beautiful place, and a nice
place to ride (after one deals with the pickup driving rednecks).
