I'm a type 1 diabetic (Insulin Dependent) and I just started cycling. Since many on this forum sing the praises of bib shorts I was considering trying some out. I use an insulin pump and I'm worried about two things. It looks like the shorts would cover the location of the infusion set, so that it might knock it loose or irritate it some. Also do insulin pumps fall off the bib shorts, or do they attach well? Are there any specifically made for people who use insulin pumps?
If any of you have suggestions of brands that might reduce these problems it would be helpful.

Thanks, George
Not much specific advice but in general, bib short shoulder straps are not very stiff and they can sometimes slide off your shoulders so I doubt you'll find any that you could attach a pump to. But there are a lot of different styles and some come up a lot higher in front and back than other styles so it would be worth looking around to see if one might work for you as far as the injection site.
Thanks for the link, I posted on that forum as well and if that doesn't work I can PM some of those guys.
I use cycling shorts and my pump clips to them just fine, but that is because they are tight around my waist. I guess one of the points of bib shorts are that they aren't waist tight, right?
As long as I can find a pair that don't interfere with the site then I might be able to get something to work, like maybe find a jersey with pockets or something.
