I've been using the Tesco finest on my daughters bike. Very bright, and
excellent value for 15 quid the pair. This is compared with 40 quid for
my LED lights (1 W luxeon and a cateye rear).

Well the Tesco value lights filament lights have been fitted to my
girlfriends bike, along with the Tesco value D Lock (!) and a Tesco
value led rear light and she's been out for the first time this
evening:
The front and rear light set comes with 3 brackets and no instructions
- makes things a bit more interesting
D lock bracket snapped as she rode off the kerb outside our house.
LED light fell off on busy main road and smashed - the clip that fits
into the bracket snapped off.

Hope the Sainsbury's ones are doing a bit better!

Mine are sitting in a box in the garage. One of them got raided Saturday
morning for the AAA batteries that went straight into one of my
cateyes for the evening commute home. (forgot to charge the other
batteries overnight).
