I have buyed one. But it will arrive in the first days of deceber. -
Does anyone know it the actual transmission from the hub is coded? Or is there a possiblity of interference when two or more cyclists are cycling together?
-
December is close; let me know how it goes.
Do you ride in cold weather?

Any good and bad...?Had one through the shop the other day with a regular customer who's been on it about 10 days. It's working well so far. Survived rain and heat well so far (our weather is crazy...) Couldn't tell you about freezing cold - it's pretty temperate here in Australia.
-
Im expecting mine in december as well, I live in northern utah and ride out as much as I can-so I'll let you guys know how the cold weather data goes-Matt

2.4 ghz, wonder if that will have an interference problem with wireless internet and phone connections, i know those both sometimes run on 2.4 ghz, but if it's coded then you should be alright.
-
It is the same band but it is 100% coded so there will be no interference. We have done extensive testing on this.

CycleOps Product ManagerJesse,
How is production and shipment coming along? When can we expect to see these in stock?

I've gotten outside in 30 degree weather(less if you factor in that I'm averaging about 20 mph)and the PT is working great..well other than the fact that it essentially came with a low battery and I've already replaced it-Also I was having downloading issues but I think it was the battery combined with my newness.

PowerTap SL 2.4 units just started shipping Monday.
It will be slow going for the first few months as we've been taking orders since spring and have a large back log.
