I figured I'd throw a pic w/specs at you...mind you, I only have frame- but this is what orig comes on bike, so I'm starting similar build- along with recently purchased FSA MegaExo Ceramic BB and FSA SLK Carbon Cranks.

Any thoughts on stuff you'd change, or on the frameset ?

I have the Jamis Quest, so can't really speak about this frame specifically. One thing I like about Jamis: somewhat better components for the same price range compared to the more well-known brands. BTW, I love my Jamis Quest.

Your Quest is a nice steel ride for sure- how does it handle beautiful Atlanta?

I was quite surprised with Jamis- in all honesty, hadn't heard of anything other than mtb from them. I've only ridden steel and besides being all carbon, the Zenith will be my first try at a build. The frame itself is incredibly made, such fabulous detail ! At 3.6 lbs w/fork, I can't wait to finally ride it!

My steel Quest is a very nice ride. I rode several aluminum and the carbons that I might have been able to afford, but I never really "bonded" with any of those. I knew I wanted to look at a few steel bikes, and the Jamis Quest had several nice reviews. So I drove up to Atlanta one weekend to test ride some bikes not found in Augusta, and came home with the Quest. No regrets, very nice bike, and one I think will satisfy me for quite some time (until I wear it out, I guess). I've added a rack and trunk bag and soon to change out the seat, but all the rest seems great. The Fizik Pave seat is fine for rides up to about 25 miles, but I can't get used to the longer rides on this seat. I will either look at a Brooks B17 or the Fizik Arione, not quite decided yet.

Good luck on your Zenith. I'm sure it will be a nice build. I will probably build a bike one day, perhaps my next one.

Very glad to hear you're enjoying your Quest. I, too, am a Quest owner (less than a month) and have enjoyed it thus far. This is my first road bike and am very satisfied with the purchase. I'm looking for more miles on this baby

I own a number of high-end bikes (carbon and Ti) but my fav ride at the mo' is my Jamis Eclipse (Steel with carbon fork and stays). Got the frame on eBay and the rest of the parts were leftovers from upgrades.

the AEG-Toshiba-Jetnetwork Pro team out of Atlanta race them.

Yeah I bought a Quest last spring and absolutely love it. Don't think I could have made a better choice for the price.
