  1. I want to buy an indoor trainer. But it;s all new to me. I think fluid is better than magnetic (and fan is way too loud). But how much $$ to get something worth riding on? What really matters? Any brands much better for the $$ -- any brands to stay away from?

Elite Fluid Primo Elastogel trainer. You will not be disappointed. Cheap price, well made. Bicycling Magazine's best bang for the buck. Love mine. Quiet, too.
