I just bought an Edge 305 w/ cadence/heart rate (literally yesterday) and i went to take it off the charger today to go for it's second ride and it was completely dead. Wont respond to computer hook-up or wall charger. Has anybody had this problem and knows the remedy? I'd like to avoid having to send it away for warrenty since i was looking forward to trainning with the info, but if it must be done then I will have too.
Any Ideas or Suggestions?

Try a hard reset -- lap and the on/off button at the same time (I think). Also, make sure to update the firmware with the most recent version. The program to do this is on Garmin's website. You might have an old version of the firmware even if the unit is new.
