  1. Hi,
What's standard size of stem comes with complete bike? What's longest size of stem you can get? Seat position on the bike is o.k for me but i realize I need to extend my arms further out.
    Thanks

Most stems comes in the range of 90 mm to 130 mm. Go to LBS a get a longer/shorter one, they can also take a look at your position and help you get a proper fit.

What stem comes with a complete bike? That depends on the bike! But probably 120-130 mm. Use a tape measurer a see what you've got. Remember to measure from center of handlebars to center of steering column.

What kind of bike? I'd guess that 110mm is the most common on complete road bikes. Aftermarket stems for road bikes range from around 80mm to 130mm.

  4. Actually you can get stems that range between 70 - 140 mm and the adjustables go up to 150 mm.
Most of the well known manufacturers have a range of 90 - 130 mm's.

That would be my guess as well, maybe slightly longer on the larger frames, but they always look too short. Pro's regularly run 130-140's to get that stretched out position. I'm 6' tall and I use nothing but 130's. Anything else just feels too short.
