Maybe this could be the seed of a new business. We could make sold
metal bunkers the size and shape of phone booths. People could pay an
hourly rate to be locked in them, while cameras, microphones, and
speakers could allow them to insult passing members of the public with
complete impunity. It would be particularly profitable if certain
members of the public were so offended that they hung around, waiting
for the "michael anderson"-alike to come out. This would force the
person inside to keep on feeding the slot so that they can remain safe
inside.

Good idea, but don't cars fulfil those functions for most people? 😉
