I know that saddles are a very individualized thing, but I'm hoping
that some of y'all can offer some assistance to me.
Back in the day, I rode Flites exclusively - road and mountain.
Following some UTI trauma, I've found that a cutout design appeals to
me whenever the ride exceeds 2 hours or so (on the road). I've been
riding a Terry Fly Ti, and generally like it, but on longer rides (over
4 hours or so), I find that there is just too much padding, and that
the nose is too wide (causing chafing on my inner thighs). Also, the
saddle profile is dead flat - no kick in the rear to push back against
while climbing(like the Flite).
So I'm looking for a new saddle for my road bike. I've been checking
out the various websites, but the angles of photographs make it
difficult to determine who makes a saddle that will fit all of my
criteria:
1) Cutout
2) Minimal padding
3) Narrow nose
4) Upward kick
....
10) Light weight
I'm not looking for subjective comfort opinions - just wondering if
anyone knows of any saddles that would fit the bill
Thanks,
SYJ
