  1. I am in the market for some new runnig shoes and need some help in my selection.,

About a year ago I purchased a pair of New Balance 350 ( suggestion of the store clerk). They have
served me will as long as I am running on the tread mill, but I want to start running outdoors and I
think a need a little better shoe.

I will be running about 4-5 miles a day in an area with concrete an asphalt. I am about 6' and
    weight about 220 lb.

Since I have had some success with the NB I would like to stay with this product, unless someone has
    a better suggestion.

Thanks for any help you can give.

  3. You might want to try the New Balance 991.

I had been using the NB 998 for _many_ years but recently got the 991's as a gift and I find them to
be super for me. They are kind of pricey though.

  4. What kind of store was that? If it was a real running store, not the shoe department in a sporting
goods store or a shoe store, I suggest going back there and asking.

Otherwise I suggest finding a real running store if possible and asking there. There are just
too many factors in choosing a shoe to do it via email. If that is impossible, the best I can
suggest is check out the NB line and see what shoes are designed for the same kind of runner and
    pick on from that group.

Personally I like NB, but there are great shoes in most lines. There are also not so good shoes
in most lines. However even the best shoe in the best line will not be good for you if it is
designed for a different kind of runner that you are.

  5. Brand doesn't matter. Just make sure you buy 2 of them.
