Hi, I commute using spd pedals. I've just bought some Shimano winter road boots (RWO2) and they have three holes for the cleats, similar to Look cleats?
I want to attach spd cleats to the RW02s so I can swap shoes on warmer days and for more easier walking.
I have seen some 'Crank Brothers Quattro Cleats' on ebay - they they look like a converter for Look to spd cleats. Will these do the job?
Does anyone know of any other solutions?
Failing all else I may make some aluminium plates for the conversion - any tips or advice?

Replying to my own post for more info: Edingburgh Bicycle Co. sell a converter plate for £10 but I am still left with the problem of walking on the cleats. Any ideas for fixing some blocks of ruber etc. on the soles

Crank Brothers cleats use the same two-hole fixing as spds but aren't the same. The Quattro pedal expects the same cleat shape as other eggbeaters but is intended for road use so they offer a cleat set which fits 3-hole shoes, which I think is what you've found on ebay.
I haven't seen one of these kits except in that picture, but I think it has a rubber surround (which helps with walking) and some way of fixing the two-hole cleat. It appears from the picture that the cleat is fixed in an unusual way - perhaps with the allen screws coming through the surround from the top side, and threaded into the cleat. Normal Crank Bros cleats are threaded into the shoe, just like SPDs.
So I think the rubber surround would do almost what you want, but the allen screws wouldn't screw into your SPD cleats.
