  1. Anyone here using Adidas shoes for racing? Are they a reputable cycling shoe? I see them for sale at Performance and Nashbar but not so much at the online "boutique" stores which makes me question their performance/quality. TIA,

cool, I'm actually looking at the Pro version on sale at Nashbar right now for $139 since I don't need anything that good. hopefully some of the features of the Ultra trickle down to the Pro model

I have Adidas Adistar Pro and am very happy with them. I bought last year's model from Nashbar on closeout and from what I could tell, the only difference was that there was a red emblem on this year's model. Now I see Performance has this year's on sale. I'm happy with them. They're very well ventilated. One thing, the buckles are working fine but I do wonder how long it's going to last. They just don't feel very sturdy.
