  1. Hello

I'm looking for a disc brake compatible rear wheel. I have an Avid BB7
caliper and 160mm 6 bolt disc. Are there some common hubs (I was
looking at Shimano XT) that don't accept the 6 bolt rotors? I note on
one web site that some of the Shimano XT hubs are made for centerlock
rotors but I can't yet find out whether that precludes the 6 bolt
    rotors.

    Thanks very much, in advance
    Marc

There are XT/shimano hubs that use the standard 6 bolt.

There are also adaptors which let you put 6-bolt rotors on centerlock
    hubs.
