I've got 2 and all I can say these are the most comfortable seats I've ever ridden. personally never put much though into a seat and just rode what came with the bike, I decided to order one for my current road bike last spring and the first time out I couldn't believe the difference.

I have had it for about two months and 400-500 miles. Much better fit for me than the Turbomatic (a hefty horse of a saddle) and the Flite. The price stung, but the reduction in numbness made it well worth it after a few rides.

I've ridden the Fizik saddles since the Pave first came out. Currently have the Alliante on both bikes. Good for my butt.

I've noticed on fi'zi:k's (yes, this is the correct spelling) website, http://www.fizik.it/newProducts.aspx, that their new models are being shown:

Arione
Gobi
fi'zi:k [cp]3

Has anyone heard or know what these new models are all about? They certainly look high end and are possibly some real breakthroughs in technology.

Does anyone know if these are available yet in the US and their costs? It looks like they may be available in Europe.

dunno if avail yet but they do look kool, in my opinion they
are over priced saddles, my slr feels far better then
the fizik i have, it may be for big riders cuz its a big saddle.

Hey, what's the deal about the Aliante anyways? I know it's pricy and lightweight, but what's unique about its construction or design that makes it the cat's meow? I'm always interested in possible alternatives.

Thinking of having kids someday, ya know.

Well, I read a preview of the Arione; it was designed for Simmoni and it does have an interesting techinical innovation. The left and right rear wings, or flares, are designed to flex under your thighs as they move -- apparently, this relieves pressure and makes the whole thing more floaty and lucsious.

Of course, I don't call anything floaty or luscious until I get to ride it for myself.
