New Tire Question

My favorite is Continental Ultra Gator Skins. Good traction and most important the kevlar lining is effective against punctures.

I think I will go with the Ultra Gator Skins when I replace my Felt Tyres!

It depends on what you're looking for. Racing tires, 4-season training tires, etc. Personally, I have been running Hutchinson Fusion Comps for the past couple seasons (training and racing). They corner very well, offer low rolling resistance and they are nice and light. Vredestein Fortezza's are a nice tire too.

Maxxis. This is my personal favorite tire brand. I like the Courchevel and Xenith Hors Categorie lines. They are great in all types of weather and road conditions.

I have put a lot of mileage on my Michelin Lithions. Very durable against cuts and punctures and quite cheap compared to the Conti Gators. I would like to try the Michelin Krylions when these wear out. For the occassional race I use michelin prorace2.

spring for a pair of Conti GP 4 seasons. They have a casing tpi of 430 and never puncture, I mean never. They don't ride too well, so you have to lower psi but that makes it better as training tyres as well.
