Dedicated cycle racing circuits

There are a few dedicated road cycle racing circuits in the UK -
Eastway in East London springs to mind, but this has just been closed
to make way for the 2012 Olympic Velodrome and Park. Hillingdon (west
London) is still open for business though.

(set the Type to "Road Racing" for road only venues).

Most of the rest are motor racing circuits, but the Milton Keynes Bowl
(outdoor concert venue) is used 3 times a week in the Summer for road

plenty of cycling clubs in the Netherlands have their own training
track, some even with a /hill/! Two tracks were built in the fifties for
moped racing, but most are dedicated cycling courses

Charlie Riys, a race promoter of the 1960's took us out the Hilversum about
1966 to show us a 150m? outdoor velodrome built by the local club (and a
plasterer).
As he said "don't moan about lack of provision - build it yourself".
Anyone know about Charlie / the track / the club?
