Trek liquid or Kona

I almost hate to say it, but if you can afford one of the higher end liquids I go with it over the dawg. It seems to be more capable all over the mountain, which it sounds like you'll be all over the place so...

Anyways, check out some other bikes as well. There are tons of solid bikes out there right now. Just ride as many as you can get away with and go from there. Don't get in a hurry and be picky, the sales and trends are working in your favor right now. Have fun.

I's say go for the Kona with mine and my friends personal experiance with both bikes. My friend's Liquid for some reason just has more problems than the other Kona does. I also just happen to like Kona more than trek, especially for free-ride. Really it's up to the test rides, i won't ever buy somethin' that much w/o testing it out on my own first.

Hey there. I race XC and do my freeriding on my trek liquid 10. Handles nicely enough for me. Can go big if I want to.
