I just got my nice shiney new Ultegra shifters and am about to install for a triple front road crank. Is there any "configuration" needed to set the levers up for triple operation or is it just a matter of the FD stop making it impossible to go to a normal third click on the shifter? It's difficult to feel the correct stops in the shifter without it being connected, but I dont want to hook everything up and need to take it back apart because I didnt do something.
