would look like the dog's breakfast. It's these fine

Seconded. Beautiful race, especially the action going through the little
town near the end - great bike handling. I almost had to change underwear
when Bettini skated that corner, bumping the guard rail with his shoulder!!

I too resent the infiltration of the doping and anti-doping factions,
and wish there was more discussion on the race. Valverde was originally
scheduled not to start over a row concerning a Protour leader
presentation not to be held at the end of the race, yet he and Bettini
were chatting it up at the start. What's up with that?

And I wish there'd been a camera on Sanchez when he came across on the
descent. That must have been some great riding.

Agreed, that was a great race. Bettini's descent on that last hill was
fantastic, talk about pushing the limits! I also thought it was very
moving at the end, when he pointed to the sky in tears while crossing
the finish line.
