I am new to the sport and riding a trek 1500. The original lube had worn off and I cleaned the drive train and tried Pedros ICE Wax, the drive train stays cleaner but the Ice Wax wears off so quickly that my chain is sqeaking after about 25 miles. I ride in 90% dry condidtions, if it rains I ride a beater or go for a run. Anyone recommend a lube that does not attract excessive debris???
I have a bottle of White Lighting and was going to try that next
I am giving the new White Lithium Spray Grease a go, $6 at Bunnings. 😉
I like using my dirtbike lube made by Honda. Dirtbike chains go through hell. I tried all the cycling lubes, Pedros, etc. None of them are as good as the lubes for a dirtbike chain. Keep the chain clean and give it a shot of Honda chainlube and you will be happy as hell.

White Lightning is similar to Pedro's. Though my experience was that White Lightning lasted a bit longer. ProGold is good, and TriFlow makes a dry lube that is good as well. That is the only drawback to dry lube is that you do have to use more. The advantage is less accumulation of debris than traditional wet lube.
I agree re ProLink. It's brilliant. It's a wet lube that doesn't pick up too much [censored] and runs as smooth as silk.
Clean your chain. Apply a drop per roller and you won't be disappointed.
Finish Line Cross Country lube. Made for mtb, works great for road. Does not attract any grit and lasts for many hundreds of kilometers, even thousands.
Either that or i use rock and roll gold intermittently.

Boeshield T-9. Tried most of the others. This stuff is the hands down winner.
Another vote for Boeshield T-9. It is personal preference. I have tried alot of them and I like this the best.
Finish Line has a pretty full range of products and the cross-country works great on the road as mentioned. It would be good to get into a routine of putting alittle bit on every few hundred kms and checking the chain out.
