  1. Well I finally got my torker Dx on friday. I opened it up cut the seat
post and put it together. It's so much better than an Lx hehe. But I
looked at it and saw the tyre clearence it's like crazy! There is like
an 1.5"+ clearance! But it feels solid and not overly heavy. The
clearance is ugly but the frame is supposedly stronger. I bump my
knees a little but oh well life is pain hehe. It's all good but here
is the cool part I ordered it from bicycle source USA on ebay and it
said 2006 Torker Unistar Dx but I got the '07! Woot

  2. Hello,

What specifically makes you say you got a "2007" model?
According to our Torker rep, Torker will no longer be labeling the models by
    years.

In addition the "new" shipment from China that contains the new CX SE
(Special Edition) blue/black will only be arriving October 7th. There will
also be an AX model (alloy frame) in the future.

It's possible someone programmed the computer which generates a sales slip
to say 2007, which would be misleading. Or, they are listing items as 2007
models in order to sell more. (Which we have noticed from some unethical
dealers after being asked about "2007" models a few times.)

Just looking to get more facts out there (and fewer rumors),

The DX with the reinforced frame is what is considered the 2007 model,
other than the frame it is the same as the 2006 model so really it is
only an update to the '06.

  6. They have a lil more but not much at all, one of my friends has one of
the 07s and another of my friends has the 06. I dont know why but the
07 saddle is also softer than the 06, and the frame is basically just
reinforced with a cuplingish ring. Still purty nice trials unis for
    259. Heavy, but really strong!
