That must be worth paying the import duty on, it's listed as $10000 on the web site :-)

Or alternatively get friends to bring it over for their 'holiday' and accidently leave it behind :-)

This is a really, really good LBS. Don't think I've ever heard a bad

I've got a b ad word to say against it! It's not my LBS 🙁 I went to schoolin Ilkley but
have since moved away, and now theres a good LBS there. hrummph!

I've just come back from a week in the Loire on a tandem holiday
on a Landescape Tandem, the holiday was organised by Pete Bird
who I'm fairly sure designed the Landescape, he used to handbuild
bikes himself as Swallow Tandems (Bird get it?).

Riding was at an easy pace and between 30 and 40 miles per day
radiating out from a fixed base at gites near Tours on very nice and
quiet roads with good scenery and places of interest.

The gite was a very good setup, 6 self contained gites but one a
large gite that was used for the communal eating area as all food is
supplied (bar 1 day out). Just like a ski chalet, very luxurious!
Breakfast every day, then lunch is brought out each riding day to
meet the group - along with the chairs and picnic tables too!
Returning to the gite each day results in cakes and a brew .[1]
In the evening a good hearty dinner was served - either in the
breakfast room (1 day when a bit iffy) or more usually on the
verandah. [2]

It is nice isn't it, last year they had a titanium tandem with S+S couplings
that would go into a std. bike airbox.

[3] Languedoc in November appeals to us - might have to
actually buy a tandem now!
