  8. I use my left hand for support while riding. My right hand while
jumping seat under. My left hand for jumping seat out. I jump to the
left seat under and I jump to the right when jumping seat out. Im
pretty messed up but at leas i can jump either direction and can pretty
much use either had since i switch off.

  13. I am pretty sure that everyone will jump opposite to their hand on the
    saddle.

Me - right hand on handle, and I jump left. To my free arm.

I read somewhere you get a big advantage by doing so, and it seems
natural that this is how everyone one rides. Jumping opposite to their
    handle hand.

    what are your *riding* preferences?

For riding I like to mount right foot back then alternate left then
right pedal strokes to propel the unicycle.

For Jumping and Hopping it's left foot forward, handle with right hand,
    jump (best) to left

  19. Right foot forward, right hand on the sadle, jump to the left. Seems
more common then I thought it was. I thought I was a real minority with
    my right foot forward.

You do tend to get a serious advantage jumping to your 'non-handle'
side, because you can use the other arm to balance, seeing as the uni
tends to lean 'out' of the jump, instead of leaning 'into' the jump.

  20. I voted, which I usually don't do, because your poll has the same flaw
as most people make here. No provision for people who do two or more
ways equally well, or in other words, "other."

I *learned* to hop well in the one direction I indicated. Now it's up
to me to learn the rest to balance out my technique.
