  1. Does anyone know anything about the new Pinarello Dogma FPX? I saw a picture of it and thought that it was the sexiest bike ever built. Just curious

Same as the Dogma FP but with smaller magnesium tubing to save some grams.
Having said that...if a 54cm FPX weighs 1.25kgs. (IMO still not a lightweight) then the FP must be quite heavy eh!?

Pinarello doesn't seem to pander to the weightweenie crowd. Petacchi probably didn't care about the grams too much either on a 77 kph sprint finish. Their Paris Carbon model in a medium goes around 950 grams. Not bad, but it's not going to threaten Scott anytime soon.

  4. Yup, Pinarello is not a great believer in super-light frames. Seem to sell enough though! 😉

I've got three of them. Rock solid down hill and in sprints. Zabel won 6 Green jersey's on them.

  6. Don't forget about this year's Tour de France.

Its all about bling... I personally hate the wiggly forks... My LBS has a pinarello with tiagra running gear for $2,500... what a joke...
