The BBC was apparently trumpeting the discovery of the skull in Ethiopia as proof of Darwin's theory of evolution, i.e. that humans gradually developed from apes. This skull is supposed to represent a human primate and is thousands of years old.
I don't believe in creatonism or Adam and Eve but I do think Darwinism has more holes in its logiuc than a fish-net. Neither do I totally reject the Bible as a source of credible history, along with other ancient texts in Sanskrit or the Gilgamesh epic e.t.c.. I mean, we know these biblical civilizations existed and that the Exodus did take place - when Jews left Egypt.
At any rate, I don't buy it. Human civilizations going back 4000 years were by no means unsophisticated. Even that far back, there was a lot of knowledge about astronomy and astrology and very advanced mathematics and philosophy. That's a big jump from the apes, from swinging in the trees and screeching to advanced verbal communication, writing and reasoning.
What Darwinists are asking us to swallow is that one form of mammal has turned into another form of mammal and, despite the similarities, apes and humans are actually very different. Added to that, these missing skulls they dig up have been subjected to a lot of conjecture and the plain truth is there is no real evidence that backs up the idea of a progressive chain of apes evolving into humans with straight vertebrae over time.
I think it's so much hogwash. We know modern canines were bred from wolves but the two remain more or less the same. There are scores of cases of animals evolving different characteristics the same as humans, some being black, some with slanted eyes and some taller or shorter. But all the races of [censored] sapiens are still human.
But I repeat: Show me where one form of mammal has converted into another entirely different mammal as Darwin advocated.
Last point: At what point did the chimps stop screeching, stand upright and start sharing communicative ideas? Did this start with, "Pass me the salt, please!" or was it a case of "What are your views on metaphysics?"
Come on! Darwin wasn't the genius he was made out to be. Let's start questioning his ideas more in schools instead of taking it as gospel we all evolved from apes.

Some humans evolved from apes. Some were unsucessful.

Some humans have devolved into apes! -
Aren't bananas the staple food for most cyclists?
Hmmm...

The differences between the human ape (which is what we are) and other apes are less than the differences between Great Danes and Chihuahuas.

It's all about the attitude.

i read somewhere that we (humans) differ from Chimps on a DNA level by only 1.5%that explains why i feel this urge to eat fleas from the heads of other people.

I just want to throw feces at them. I guess in goes along the same line of thinking.

No, Oscar Mayer is baloney.
The theory of evolution did not begin nor stop with Darwin's published findings. Much has been studied and discovered since Darwin's time, so the fact that you have found "holes" in his works from almost 150 years ago should not be surprising.
Are you inquiring about modern theories of biological evolution, or strictly speaking of Darwinism?

Genetically engineered mutations is a more plausible explaination for the existance of Homosapiens than simple evolution (scientific prospective). IMO:o)

The earth is a dumping ground where aliens disposed of their failed genetic experiments.

When you say "here", I don't think you mean the U.S. I mean afterall, aren't aliens..Green?:p

I believe humans always existed as [censored] sapiens. Originally we were hunter-gatherers. We lacked technology but we always had languages - not grunting.
The oldest civilization I know of was ancient Egypt. These were black people with a sophisticated culture and a vast knowledge of mathematics and astrology. This was thousands of years ago.
Not only that. According to some ancient texts in Sanskrit there may well have been a civilization before that destroyed itself.
So, I think Darwin made a huge leap in logic from apes to men. Just because apes seem more like us than canines or bears, doesn't necessarily mean we evolved from them.
Of course, I may be wrong.Scotty_Dog said:

I do recall before I could talk, I had this urge to pull down my right eyelid when I was mad at someone.lw

That's Von Danikenism. God was an astronaut e.t.c.
