  1. I'm looking to upgrade my fork on my 59cm '96 Litespeed Ultimate frame.

Unfortunatly, I'm not having much luck finding geometry information about this particular frame, so I'm not exactly sure which fork rake I should choose. I suppose that if I could find an accurate way to measure the rake of the old Kestrel EMS fork it came with, I could just copy that.

Litespeed's website indicates a 40mm rake for a frame of my size, but this is for the current generation Ultimate, which is very different from my old-style frame.

Any idea where I can find fork rake information for this frame? Thanks in advance.

  2. I have a 2000 classic, and still have the catalog from that year. here, too, the rake was 40 across the entire line.

might want to email litespeed. (see litespeed.com)

  3. Thanks for looking that up for me. Unfortunatly, I not sure that those measurements will apply to my frame. Litespeed changed thier design for the Ultimate in 1997 (they added the curved seat stays and the 6/4 blade style downtube). Later on (not sure what year) they changed it again to the current design (The one with the carbon fiber seat stays).

I fired off an email to Litespeed. Hopefully , they'll respond soon.

    Cheers.
    David
