yeah I know the feeling

If your in NSW and riding in Linden in the Blue Mountains, between the water
tank and Linden Railway station is a mean magpie. He got four hits on my
helmet the other day, and a lady I know who rides says he got her at least 5
yesterday.
I've never seen one that chases you as far as this one does.

I know that pain of a bird too well. First became aquainted with it a couple
of years ago. Have thought of going down there with a bat but instead I've
just altered my route for a few weeks. All should start to quiet down but
early Oct.

Count me as another of his victims, he took about four passes at me as I rode past last Tuesday morning. He seems to live in the trees near the pedestrian crossing next to the Tyner Rd intersection.

Will have to remember that for our trips to 1/20.... might go via Mountain Highway instead....
