1. Well I have a flat feet, and my feet ankles are flexible, that's why I don't last long running/walking/standing still.

I wear a Shimano SPD-L shoes (basic one). I noticed that I feel really sore along the feet surface, it feels like the nerveof the feet is being pinched, it goes numb and sore if I keep going. When I loosened the straps, so my feet can wiggle around, the soreness was somehow gone.

Do you think it's something to do with the shoes? Do you think more solid sole might solve the problem?

It kind of sounds like you have your straps too tight before you start to ride.
Your feet will swell slightly as you start to ride and if you have the straps too tight they will restrict the blood flow to a point.
Just loosen your straps a little more when you first put them on and see how they feel later on in the ride. The great thing about the velcro straps is they can be tightened while still on the bike if you find they are still too loose.

I had exactly the same problem ( same flat feet, flexible ankles and Shimano shoes ). I found the outside of my foot going numb after about 30-40 minutes. What worked for me was to slightly shim the cleats on the shoe to lift the inside of the footbed so that the pressure on the sole of my foot was more evenly distributed ( less on the outside ). No problems since. Hope this helps.

4. THanks guys, hope it solves my problem. Badgerfan, what you experienced exactly what I have too.

You don't say if you use an orthotic to correct your flat feet. Try these (money back guarantee so you've got nothing to lose):

I couldn't believe how stable my foot/ankle felt after putting some inside my Sidi shoes.

I have the opposite of flat feet, raised arches ,and i find the cleat possitioning incredibly important,Sock thickness also interferes with blood circulation so i have settled to a couple of pairs that don't cause discomfert.
My feet like a stiff no flex sole, that's why i ditched running and took up cycling.
