Does anyone know of a small, portable, no frills or gizmos, warmup trainer? I want to have one to keep warmed up on near the starting line of TTs, and then just hop off it and onto my bike just before my start time.

You mean like a stationary bike? I've never seen that at a RR or TT before.\
Most guys just bring their fluid/mag trainers and use those. That's what I do. Makes sense to use the machine that you will be riding in the race.

Just look for a wind trainer if you don't want to lug your mag/fluid trainer to the races. Downside is it's loud, but your outside warming up. They are probably the cheapest trainers out there. I just bring my fluid to races to warm up with.
