    Newbie to these forums!

    I've started commuting the 15miles to work and back on my road bike. In 1 month my ride to and from work will be partly in the dark and I'll need head lights.

    I'm riding along mostly country roads so I'll need bright lights to light the way, not just to be seen.

    Can people recommend the best rechargable headlights (in their experiance) for my road bike.

    Cygolite Dualcross 300, led rechargeable , small ni-mh battery, 4hrs duration on high, more than 20watt output, flashing fucntions, cheaper than HID models, good for a road bike mounting, light unit in front of stem.

    be sure to also get flashing red lights to mount on the rear of the bike. I clip mine onto the bag under the saddle
