  1. Planning on riding Tsali during the T'giving weekend. First off, how crowded will it be then?
Second, any familiy-friendly lodging recomms. in Bryson City? The rest of my family do not ride so
we'd like to stay at a place where they'll have something to do while I ride. NOC (www.noc.com)
offers lodging arrangments and we're thinking about staying there.

Zilla, ENJOY! Those are some great trails. They weren't crowded at all when around August. I'd
    expect the same.

As for lodging, look up Yellow Rose Reality.

    Peace, Bill

Make sure you bring your rigid singlespeed because it's all very a-technical and sanitized,
    courtesy of NOC.

Damn. I was planning on bringing a 200mm travel FS bike, if I had one! 🙂 I believe I may rent a
    Specialized Epic from NOC.

Actually, I want to try a-technical single-track terrain, like parts of the rolling terrain that
some of you folks post pictures of. If I get a digital camera by then, I'll post pics.

  5. Bryson City is pretty small, you can see the whole thing walking in about
1/2 hour. If your family needs stuff to do while you are riding, the NOC would be a better bet,
provided the activities they offer are things your family likes to do.

My favorite motel in Bryson is The Rosewood Inn, about $50 for a double that looks over the river.
There is also a national chain motel in town, I think it is the Sleep Inn. Do a web search on Bryson
City, you will see lots of options.

I was at Tsali two weeks ago, not crowded at all and the trails were mostly dry.
