Bought a new wheel set a few days back. I noticed that the back wheel clicks when pulling up hills. Not really that noticeable but it’s definitely got me wondering. The shop I bought the wheels at did take the time to hand true them before handing them over to me.

The rims are Alex 202’s 700c x 35 not the greatest but certainly better than what I had before. Or so I was told. The owner of the bike shop said I could bring them back after a couple hundred miles to have them retrued for free. He made it sound like there is some sort of break in involved.

Right now I have 50 miles on them, basically one ride, rims are still straight, no changes. Should I wait until I rack up a few more miles or should I take the rear wheel back and have them check it out? Been riding for years, this the first time I’ve ever encountered this sort of problem.
