    I've read a lot about compact cranks - they seem like a good option. I'm just a recreational rider - between 30-100kms - in flat and hilly country.

    I've seen the Ritchey Compact Crankset, and they look pretty nice - has anyone had any experience with these?

    What cranks do you have now? Are they 8, 9 or 10 speed?

    9 Speed - 39/53 and 14-25.
