Does anyone know if anyone makes cycling helmets with added sun
protection. I'm having my second basal cell carcinoma removed and I'm
afraid to get back on my bikes. I'm looking for something with a 3-5
inch sunvisor in front, back and on the sides! I know it sounds funny
and not very aerodynamic but I don't want anything else cut off of my
    face.

Every bald or going bald cyclist I know wears a skull cap under the helmet.
A bike flip bill like cap is popular too. But the skull caps typically are
made of the same material as jerseys with or without the sweat redirectors
    for the eyes.

  2. I like the skull cap idea (lots of slots in the helmet and red stripes
in the thinning hair). A skull cap would be thin enough under my helmet
to fit but I can't find anything else so far with a visor unless this
    would be it:

An nothing so far with sides and a tail. What's needed is a very thin
(nylon?) sun hat that could fit under a helmet.
