  1. I think I need to lube my mid 90's 8 sp record hub's freehub. It freewheels loudly & tightly, ie.
the pedals move forward when I push the bike. It matters because I use the bike for 'cross & I want
the pedals to stay put when I push the bike.

What is the appropriate lube for the interior of the freehub where the pawls interface?

  2. just use any good quality light consistency grease.

    low tech solution!
