  1. Hey..
my rear hub makes a clicking sound...seems like once per revolution.
only when i am NOT peddling.....

think the hub needs to be replaced?
its on a mountain bike with Spin carbon fiber wheels...i bought it used
but the components are real good. also the chain has stretched so the
rear sprocket and chain need to be replaced. is one caising the other?

    any ideas anyone?

Since we can't hear the "clicking sound," I would say take it to your
LBS. I'm not familar with Spin wheels, but it maybe your hub, it may be
your rim? Need to hear it. If it is your hub, are Spin hubs
rebuildable? That is, does it come with cup and cone ball bearings or
even cartridge bearings? IF so, and that is the problem, then maybe all
    you need is an overhaul.

As for chain "stretch," if your cassette isn't too worn, you might get
away with just replacing your chain.

Since it sounds like you don't know how to fix your bike, take it to a
good local shop and have them look it over, it will be worth it!

Check to make sure that the freehub isn't working lose from the hub...
I had this happen on my mountain bike recently, fortunately I caught it
in time otherwise I would have trashed the whole hub.

    Regards,
    Anthony
