Anyone else think Discovery's doctor is getting a raise after todays stage?

A second year pro and TT specialist beating the worlds best climbers in one of the biggest races of the year?
Anyone else think Discovery's doctor is getting a raise after todays stage?
Will the raise make up for the penalties incurred from the TdF?

yes Brajkovič really is an amazing SLOVENIAN rider. He was Time Trial winner and be4 this race he had an interwiev for slovenian television. He said that he won't be racing with full power because it is his first 3 weeks race 😉 I think the team will now want that he race at 120% 😉
Brajkovic has had a fantastic year, his second in the pro ranks.
5th overall Tour de Suisse (4th in stage 9)
5th overall Volta Catalunya (3rd in stage 1)
5th overall Tour of Georgia
9th overall Vuelta Castilla y Leon
5th, stage 6, Tour of Austria
In 2004, world U-23 TT champion
So not just a TT specialist.
I read an interview with Bruyneel, somewhere in the last month or so, picking him as an up and comer. I guess after today, everyone who didn't know about him knows about him!

What's the company line on Tommy D now? Are there two gc dicos or is everyone still behind Danielson? Anyone?

Bruyneel just said on the Paceline that
Quoted post said:Our leader, Tom Danielson, did OK but I expect in the future for him to do a little better. But when the day was done he was only 22 seconds behind Valverde so I am not worried in the least…
As for Brajkovic:
Quoted post said:But this is his first Grand Tour, and while he keeps surprising everyone by showing his talent earlier than expected, I do not and will not consider him one of the race favorites. Not that it's not possible, but he is here for the experience and to get stronger. It's a common mistake, you win one stage and everyone thinks you're the king, but one we're not going to make. We'll put no pressure on him, he's super professional, and we'll see how things turn out.
I wonder if Bruyneel is aware that Brajkovic didn't actually win the stage.

No! The dumb [censored] probably thinks Di Luca won.🙁
He probably thinks Brajkovic came in a close second or something like that.

I think Brak was ordered to suck wheels and even Diluca admits the kid was stronger but he won because of experience and whatever, grit.
Plus he can sprint.
I think Tom D and Brak will be co-leaders and Brak will take over after a few more mnt top finishes like this.
Geez, no offense, but when his picture first appeared on the paceline, I thought it was sweet that Lance let a cancer survivor child dress up in team kit and ride with the team and all. I mean honestly.
Then I found out he was the U23 TT champ etc.
this kid is amazing.
Here's a piece on the kid in Velonews.com: http://velonews.com/race/int/articles/10788.0.html

115lbs/53kg! Geesh...
Two minor errors in the story, he was 5th at Volta Catalunya, not 4th, and Danielson finished just out of the top 10 in 11th today (but is in the overall top 10).

He is very very thin. Can you imagine him riding in a headwind, an ocean road or Fairfield California ? 😄

He is so thin! I`ve seen him last October and he was really thin but now he`s even thiner.
That was great to watch. Valverde, Sastre & co. being dropped and DiLuca complaining about Brajkovic not sharing the pace!😄 Fantastic..
I`m afraid that he`ll still have to work for Danielson. The day after tomorrow is another mountain stage and I hope he`ll have some support from team mates. Don`t forget that he`s a great TTist..

I predict by tomorrow the Spanish press will have a new nickname for him - like "Palito" or "El Yugo Delgado".
DiLuca probably wouldn't have gotten any help by drafting him anyway.
I don`t like "Yugo" in the middle..🙄
