of "if you haven't got their attention within a few seconds they'll go
elsewhere."? After a few seconds I was still watching swirly blue

I really wish people wouldn't "design" (for want of a better word)
websites using all these flashy gimmicks just because they can. I
suppose it could have been even worse than worse than appalling - there
could have been muzak blaring out!

Whoever built that is clearly a games player (and presumably 14 years
old with perfect hand-to-eye co-ordination). I wonder if their remit
was that the site should only sell to other gamers though?

Apparently Sky HD gives you greater depth of field, which is odd because
I always thought that was a function of the camera lens/aperture. Plus
you get "resonant sound", while hi-fi speaker designers generally try to
reduce resonance as much as possible.

I think the rotating blob in the middle of the Sky site is a
representation of the guts of Flash 7 after being ripped out by your
computer and dangled in front of the programmer as a warning. :-)

What you get is more pixels that your TV probably can't resolve, and if it
can, your eye probably can't at normal telly viewing distances, unless
