At the Chicago criterium, in the elite amateur category, it would
appear that one Adam Bergman was a random drug test, and never showed.
That equals a positive. It is always a rider's responsibilty to check
for randoms.
Unless he has a real ggod excuse, it's a lifetime ban.

Not really. Then you're in something of the situation Pantani was in after
his accident when the doctors discovered his 60%+ hematocrit. CAS has
stated that you don't need a positive test result to prove a doping
infraction if there is a preponderance of other credible evidence.
The defense to not showing up for the test is that of impossibility of
performance due to an uncontrolled, intervening circumstance.
