I would complain to them. Can you get a refund?

Had you ridden a monza before you bought this? I don't trust places like rscycles or bikes direct to deliver quality goods. I've only heard bad comments about both.

That's for UFOs flying upside and low... they can still read Monza...

I would complain. When you spend $700+ on a bike in my opinion it should be put together properly including decals. Some people probably wouldn't care but if it bothers you then you really should speak your mind and see what they will do about it. Good luck!

I did ride a Tommaso, but not the Monza, I rode a higher end model and it rode very nice. I will be calling today, i guess i'll chalk this up as lesson learned.

my view is that manufacturers of any product will make mistakes. what's most important is how often they make them and how well they respond to customer feedback.

i'd make the call. at the very least, you'll get a feel for how well they will respond to "major" problems in the future.

They have the frame marked as a 54cm on the seat tube? IME, those are just to help the dealers - and the stickers are intended to be removed anyway (they just peeloff). The upside down decal is pretty funky though; if it's something you can remove I'd just take it off, but if it's under clear coat or for whatever reason you can't get it off without damaging the paint you might write them a letter. Be sure to state exactly what you expect them to do about it - exchange, pay for shipping, whatever, and then be open to their counter offer (or maybe a "get lost" response).

If you don't get satisfaction, I'd cover it up with some other decal. Then post a bunch of RSCycles Sucks! messages all over the web.

I will write them a letter and cc: Tommaso in on it also. I think the sticker is under the clear coat, i tried finding a seam to the sticker last night just to peal it off, but to no avail.

Ah - RSCycle vs RSCycles the latter is a motorcycle company.

The Tommaso Monza aluminum frame is equipped with a meticulously painted frame with the highest attention to detail. This type of craftsmanship can only be found on road bikes far more expensive than the Monza.

I'd say you didn't get what they promised there! They'll probably tell you that you'll have to pay for all the shipping and try to make you think it's not worth your while. Good luck.

Well, I finally have closure on my ordeal.
I emailed Tommaso and RScycle and told them I was dissapointed.
Tommaso didn't really care, they said take up the matter with RScycle.
RScycle had me take a picture of my bike with the upside down logo and offered to pay shipping both ways and to send me a new bike. Well, I have already put pedals, water bottle cages, new tape and a computer on, so i thought this would be a hassle. What I asked for was a set of michellin tires in exchange for my inconvienence. To my surprise they said they would be shipped and I would receive them soon. I asked for the tires, hoping that they would give them to me half price, but to my suprise, no negotiating, Im gonna put these on for my training tires and keep my other ones for races/serious rides. Thanks for sharing your opinions with me. It all worked out in the end.
